Sidmark, who hosted America’s longest-running radio present that introduced audiences in Philadelphia and the nation to the music of Frank Sinatra, has died.
Mark’s radio profession spanned 65 years, the final 22 of which have been on KYW’s sister station Talk Radio 1210 WPHT.
After forming a friendship with Sinatra courting again to 1966, Mark turned the primary authority on the “Chairman of the Board”. His radio manufacturing is exclusive because it consists of unique recordings of conversations with Sinatra and his showbiz contemporaries. “Friday with Frank”, “Sunday with Sinatra” and the nationwide syndicate “Sounds of Sinatra” are the one songs of their form to be personally licensed by Sinatra.
Mark based The Voice of Sinatra in Philadelphia 62 years in the past. The present ran for 43 years on the nationwide syndicated radio program, making Mark the host of the longest single-artist syndicated radio present within the United States, reaching 100 stations and 1 million listeners per week.
